Market school · setup playbooks

Setups are lessons, not instructions.

Each scenario below exists to teach a process — thesis, trigger to study, invalidation, and risk rule. Nothing here is a signal, a price target, a leverage call, or a personalized entry. This is not financial advice.

BTC / Trend-retake scenario

Bitcoin is the cleanest beginner proxy for crypto market direction.

Trigger to study: Educational trigger: study what happens when price reclaims a prior daily support zone after a selloff.

Invalidation: If the reclaim fails and price closes back below the zone, the thesis is invalid for this scenario.

Risk rule: No leverage; if you ever practice, decide your maximum acceptable loss first and never use leverage or borrowed money.

ETH / Range-confirmation scenario

Ethereum adds smart-contract ecosystem risk and opportunity, not just market-beta exposure.

Trigger to study: Educational trigger: compare ETH/BTC relative strength before treating ETH as stronger than BTC.

Invalidation: If relative strength keeps falling, avoid assuming ecosystem news equals price strength.

Risk rule: Separate long-term learning from short-term trading; never borrow to hold volatility.

SOL / High-volatility momentum scenario

Solana can move faster than large caps and punish late entries.

Trigger to study: Educational trigger: only study momentum after a confirmed breakout and volume expansion.

Invalidation: If the breakout reverses into the prior range, the setup is failed.

Risk rule: Treat as extreme risk; reduce size or skip if you cannot explain the invalidation.
